Norfolk -The Shieling
We awoke to bright sunlight. I opened the blinds to dazzling sun on sea. Ians turn to feed Misty and it was blustery out on the cliff path. I just lazed in bed looking at the view. We had a crossword off (I forgot who won again) then breakfasted on porridge and hot cross buns before preparing for departure.

I was very impressed with Sandy Gulls. Only downside was ot was a bit of a trek to the toilet block. Otherwise a near perfect site, especially as its adults only! 9/10.
As our next site was quite close we decided to call at Sheringham Hall on the way. Sir Georgie Kelly led us astray a bit in Cromer Town centre, but Ian rescued the situation with aplomb. The kind man at the hall let us park in the bus parking and we had a lovely walk through the grounds.

Replete once again, we strolled the mile back along church lane, gazing in awe at the mansions along the way. Tucked tight up in Dame Shirley we watched an episode of university challenge, where Ian was on fire, before retiring to the sound of rain beating on the roof.
Strava watch
The walk around Sheringham Hall grounds was a couple of miles, then a mile each way to the pub
Nature watch
Nothing really exciting, but loads of birds flitting around the site too fast for us to identify
Neighbour watch
We’ve not yet introduced ourselves to the couple sat comfily outside their caravan watching Ian put deep grooves on the field

Glad dad is such a calm and good driver, I’d be stuck forever in the mud of pitch 3 😅
