The lakes - A Showing and a Meal
I had a lovely nights sleep, disturbed only by the sound of nuts dropping off the trees onto the roof and four gunshots at 4am. It was so lovely that I didn’t wake up till 8.40. A new world record. Ian made the coffee then went off to bring the car down it having fully charged over night. I will never know if I got my full 40kw worth. We did the normal pfaffing then Ian made the porridge. “You don’t make enough,” was his reason for changing a three year old tradition. Ten minutes later he plonked a bowl of raspberries topped by a teaspoonful of porridge in front of me as I sat outside. “How much porridge do you use exactly?” He queried, as if he was going to make it again any time soon!
