Since our last trip a lot had happened. We had been on a great weekend in Liverpool to watch the gymnastics Christmas had come and gone. We had a ruby wedding. New year had come and gone. And we had acquired two new family members. It had been a long winter, but at last Spring had sprung. It was time to dust off Dame Shirley Bassey.
